Wines, origin and varieties The cooperative VVDP Karpaty established in 1995 is farming on 183 hectares of vineyards in the town Pezinok - locality Grinava. Part of the production is processed localy at the cooperative winery and the other part is being sold to other winemakers. Therefore the wines originating in vine-yard locations such as Chrastiná, Medvedie, Kumandel, Gutenberg, Ranšpereg, Kešemberg, Piesenpereg, Kitonec, Kotlíky, Koryto, Orešné, Mlynské, Noviny, Stará hora, Nová hora, Krížna and Dlhá can be found from the other wine producers in the regon as well.
